deaththekidsonoflorddeath asked: I made a tumblr just to follow you. I love what you are doing, as I play MTG whenever I'm not watching Dr. Who. Keep doing what you are doing and post a way to possibly buy cards? I would love to get ahold of some of these :)

I’ve recently put my project on pause because I needed to focus more on my studies (still). While after my exams are over, I will continue it. As far as making these cards available for purchase, I am honored by the request. However I can only provide them for free as it would be illegal for me to sell them without permission from both Wizards of the Coast and the BBC for use of their Intellectual Property Rights.

Here is the first of the cards I have made for Asylum of the Daleks. It’s a plane. A card type I’ve never designed before. However, from the advice I have received planets in general are actually like planes and therefore I should convert the planets I have designed as lands into planes. On the plus side, I can actually feature different aspects of each plane by making several different plane cards based on the same planet.

Seeing this, some of you may be thinking that I have stopped making MtG cards for Doctor Who.

Well, you’re wrong.

After, like, six months of no updates on this blog, I have decided that there is no reason for me to not post other cards I have made and finalized. While you may not get the references of some of these cards, they are cool either way.

Anyways, I wanted to post these to make three seperate announcements. The first two I’ll just reiterate: 1) This tumblr is not dead! 2) I’ll occasionally be posting non-DW cards. And 3) I am currently designing DW cards based off of season 7 and will be posting them individually once I have finished making the cards for Asylum of the Daleks.

I’m usually long winded, so if there is you’d like to know the stories behind these cards feel free to ask me any question!

The “Fourth” Doctor. So some of you may remember that I already made a card for The “Fourth” Doctor, but at the time I expressed dissatisfaction with it. So, it has taken me forever to finish the last of The Masters, hopefully I’ll be done with having to design planeswalkers for a while. I have been making some minor changes with some of the other cards in regards to format. Also, on top of this, school, and work, I’ve also started designing a fully custom MtG set.

Two non-creature spells! 

Okay, so it’s been over a week (or two?) since I last posted any new cards. It’s because well, life, studying, issues with employment, and lack of inspiration. I’m still trying to figure out what to do for Anthony Ainsley’s incarnation of the Master, Donna, and Wilfred.

Fixed Ballot. This is in honor of the Primary that has finally resolved here in my home state of Florida. This is not an intended commentary on the Primary, but more of a Whovian jest at American Politics. So enjoy! The Master.

At least two of his regenerations. Although “The Morphant Master” wasn’t so much of a regeneration as it was his consiousness possessing a serpentine shapeshifting creature from the planet Skaro which in turn was possessing a human paramedic named Bruce. He counts, but just barely.

Here are some more of the cards I created as an homage to Remembrance of the Daleks, only one of them has footage from the serial, but they were all created based off of the notion of that serial. (Exept Lone Dalek - that just came to me suddenly.) It’s hard to get good MtG worthy photos of Classic Who, very hard! Not that the camera work is bad, it’s just the picture frame has it limitations and most DW photos were not made with MtG taken in consideration.
