The “Second” Doctor, Patrick Troughton.
My personal favorite Doctor Who. I see him as an exacting, justice oriented character who will even sacrifice himself to stop the evils in the universe. Because he does actually do that in “The War Games.” He also happens to be rather staightforward and blunt about everything, hence the simplicity of his card.
2 and 11

These guys have a lot in common. I bet it’s been mentioned before… but, they both wear bow ties, suspenders, like trying on hats, act really smug almost all the time, they think out loud, and they’ve got some really ugly mugs. Now I say that lovingly.
I don’t know what other comparisons are out there, but it’s just been solidified in my mind closing “Closing Time” that Matt Smith (11) is the Doctor. Patrick Troughton (2) has always been my Doctor. So now that 11 is a lot more like 2 than ever before, I just know that 11 is a great Doctor and will still be hopefully for years yet to come.
